Hi there! My name is Ciara and I am a passionate vet assistant. I am a proud graduate of Cherry Hill High School East. There I founded and was president of Pet and Animal Welfare for Students (PAWS), president of the African American Culture Club, Board Member of Women in Science, and an active leader in various other clubs.  I am excited to start my academic journey at Rowan University this fall, where I will pursue a degree in Biological Sciences. In addition, I have been accepted into Rowan's School of Veterinary Medicine accelerated program, a highly competitive pathway with only four students admitted annually.

At home, I care for a lizard named ET and a rescue dog named Harley, named after Harley Quinn. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, writing poetry, volunteering for a local horse sanctuary, and practicing activism for causes close to my heart. My love for animals fuels my commitment to veterinary medicine, where I strive to heal and advocate for voiceless beings by being their voice.
