Dr. Rachel Waltzer

Meet Dr. Waltzer

Dr. Waltzer grew up right here in Cherry Hill and has always had a passion for caring for animals, both large and small. After earning her Bachelor of Science from Cook College at Rutgers University, she went on to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015.

After practicing in northern Virginia for two years, Dr. Waltzer returned home to South Jersey to be closer to her family — and we’re so happy to have her here!

Dr. Waltzer is Fear Free Certified and has special interests in dentistry, palliative care, and greyhounds. She especially enjoys getting to know the Greyhounds who visit her, having had one of her own.

At home in Mount Laurel, Dr. Waltzer stays busy with her husband, son, tiny rescue dog, two cats, chickens, a fish, and even a collection of plants!

When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys riding horses, hiking, reading, cooking, and gardening.
