Adult Cat Care

Adult cats should visit the veterinarian once yearly to have vaccination updates and medical evaluation. Cats are stoic animals and often do not display discomfort until they have advanced disease. For this reason it is very important that they have complete physical examinations each year.

Diet is often discussed as part of the yearly feline exam as cats have more diet related disease problems than dogs.  There are many specialty cat foods that can assist in maintaining your cats health.

Weight checks each year are also an important part of this exam as cats can steadily, but slowly gain weight as a result of their often sedentary lifestyles.
